Putting it Together

This week in our group meeting the Dream Builders focused on finishing as much of our part (the Re-Store) as we could. We split split up the responsibilities, and each of us worked diligently to make the Re-store a successful link. We included information concerning the store hours, location (and a general map along with links to directions), and types of material accepted. We organized this information under a shop, donate, or volunteer heading. Overall, it was one of our most productive times together, because we were almost ready to submit to the editing group after only one meeting. We are confident that our work on the Re-Store link will provide much information, in an aesthetic layout, that will allow users to become familiar with this noble division of Habitat for Humanity in Anderson.

Questions for Shelby and rest of groups?

Our group got chosen to do the Restore part for Anderson's Habitat for Humanity. A couple questions we would like to post for Shelby and the rest of the groups include:

How Anderson's Restore got started?
Background information on Anderson's Restore (we can look up Habitat's nationwide facts online)?
How to make it appealing to college students and surrounding communities?
Whether she wants contact information for the Restore? Where it should be?
Maintain the same Restore symbol, with same colors?

Those are just a couple questions our group has in making our portion of Part 2 of the project.

The Final Proposal!

We really enjoyed finishing the proposal. We think it came out great and truely expressed how we want to impove the website! We are also ecstatic about working with Shelby to complete the website. We hope that she choices our proposal because we know that it will increase money donations as well as items for the Restore. Our basic goals were to maintain the identity of the Web site and the web address, make the Web site more appealing, easy to navigate, and easy to donate. We know we have a lot of competition. Everyones proposal was great, but we know that our proposal will meet the needs not only for Shelby and Habitat for Humanity but for the individuals visiting the site. We can not wait to hear back from Shelby on her imput and decision!
